    I would suggest rewiring it. I wouldn't bother with an outlet.

    There are lots of options, from cheap to not cheap :)

    Cheapest would be to get a Desktop PC power cord out of your closet and cut both ends off. Then hard wire the longer cord into your box. Not modular, but potentially free.

    You could wire in a single outlet (don't use a gfci since you have that at the wall) http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003AUK944/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20 Then, just cut one end off that Desktop power cord and wire it to the pod, the other end has a nice clean plug on it.

    Neutrik Powercon is probably the classiest option, but more expensive:

    Suppose that is the easiest route. Just need a little longer cord afterall.

    Good call on the computer wires. Those neutrik things are pretty neat, actually.
