I've been buying stuff from them for years. Used to do will call pick up so nothing to get excited about, its just a warehouse.

They are really damned good about fast shipping. They also have all kinds of good assortment of parts. In fact one of the best variety for Mfg.

Two jobs ago purchasing somehow entered into an agreement to buy everything from Grainger. BTW - Graingers catalogs suck balls. The whole engineering department was really pissed when they told us no more buys from McMaster.

The engineering manager told the senior buyers that they at Grainger better start buying $hit load of metric parts. 80% of the equipment in production was made in Germany the rest in Japan! Eventually they caved, since too many people complained. I think the buyers were crooked. Too often they tried getting exclusive deals with suppliers and the suppliers they chose were aweful.

    McMaster-Carr Rocks!!! :rockin:

That's a lot of S's. Did you leave off the last S for "Savings"?

I agree with Schlenkerla about Grainger and they're catalogue. I typ only use Grainger for motors...they do have a wide selection of motors.

We have two UPS deliveries a day at work. If I place a MC order early in the morning, it'll often arrive on the 4:00 PM UPS truck the same day.

    I'm always amazed.

I just want you to know that during one of the sessions at NHC with Vinnie Cirluzo, Vinnie was referencing McMaster Carr.

They tap a small hole in each barrel to sample beers so that they do not disturb the pellicle. They reseal the hole with SS nails. The nails are available at McMaster Carr.

Vinnie went on to say, that among brewers, if you spend too much time paging through the McMaster Carr catalog, they call that, "McMasterbating."
