I just want to publicly say THANK YOU to Wayne Frantzen at March Pumps. Two weeks ago I was brewing and one of my pumps would not turn. Plugged it in and it just hummed. Looked up any problems on this forum and read to contact March for help. Sent Wayne an email and received an immediate response. "Call Me" So I called him, explained the problem. He said to send him the pump and he'd take a look. He received the pump on Friday and on Monday he called and said he got it fixed and was sending it back. I said great, how much do I owe you. Nothing! WOW, never expected that as the pump was a couple of years old and well used. I was more than willing and expecting to pay for a repair.

With customer support like that March has a customer for life and I will recommend to my brew buddies to use March pumps.

Very nice! Sounds like their support is a bit better than what we've been hearing about the Chugger pumps. If my steelheads ever burn out I'll be moving to March.

Did he give any indication of the problem, just age or something that caused the problem? Info like that might help March pump brewers to avoid the problem in the first place.

I would like to get into electric (not in the foreseeable future - $$) and use March pumps. Got 6 good #'s???

Actually his motor was damaged...either was accidentally dropped or something fell on it. Wayne happened to have a good one in the parts dept and swapped it out. We try and help the homebrewers out as much as we possibly can (with in our limited authority here) ;)
