So I am almost finished building my electric HERMS all grain brewery, and today I managed to break the inlet housing off my brand new March 815 PL pump.....

tried to epoxy it back on twice, broke it off twice

    $##@$%^%$#@$%^&^*&

now looking at a chugger stainless replacement head, anybody used one on an 815 model. I know they are compatible with the 809

Yep, the chugger heads work fine on an 815.

Yeah, don't overtighten fittings on the plastic heads. You aren't dealing with much pressure.

It didnt break due to overtightening the fittings...I am a little embarrassed to say it, but when I bolted it down, I noticed the mount was a bit crooked, so it tried to straighten it with a little twist. unfortunately i was using the fittings as handles and...snap

    wasnt impressed with myself
