I have a Kenmore 8.8 freezer to turn into a fermentation chamber using a Love TSS2 controller. For those of you that use this controller for fermentation, where to you place the temperature probe? Leave it in the air, or stuck to a carboy, or?

What do you do and how does it work out with this controller?

Put it in liquid to get true liquid temperature. A liquid yeast vial is a good option.

I use it taped to the side of a better bottle with a piece of insulation on the outside and have had great success with that set-up.
