I know that MoreBeer.com sells ferrules, but I wondered if there's a cheaper route for me to go...they were going to charge me like $12 for ground shipping and I was only buying 2 ferrules.

Can anybody give me some suggestions???

I'm buying the ferrules for my own customer made tap handles, if you're wondering.

What size are they? Your standard big box hardware store will have some in the plumbing isles, but only up to a certain size. If you are looking for something larger, do a local search using google maps for pipe fittings or plumbing supplies. You may be able to find a local shop that carries things for plumbers and such. About 5 years ago while working in a grad school lab we used to order a bunch from these guys http://www.mcmaster.com/#compression-tube-fittings/=fxkjew . I don't recall if they only do single items or bulk orders, but the shipping wasn't bad. Of course that could have been because we were local.

The ones I was looking at were from MoreBeer.com located here: https://morebeer.com/view_product/16295/beerwinecoffee/Silver_Ferrule. I was originally wrong on the shipping, but since I would be ordering 2, I don't want to pay almost as much for the shipping as I would the two ferrules. So, I found a couple from KegWorks.com that are slightly cheaper and they offer cheaper shipping.

Ahhhh, ICIC. Different type of ferrule. What I sent you was for ferrules used for sealing pipes behind nuts. Glad you found what you were looking for.
