Looking for a Ten Penny Ale Clone

    There is a local beer that is delicious here in CT. It's called Ten Penny Ale it's a light scottish ale. I've searched to find a clone and can't find one. Anyone have any ideas where to find one or at least some kind of baseline? Thanks

    It just so happens that I was looking for the same thing and I came across the recipe here:

    I believe this is right out of BYO March-April 2010. It is also available in Brew Your Own Magazine's 250 Classic Clone Recipes Book which is available at Amazon. I plan on trying the all-grain recipe for my next brew.

    I went down to HBS and they had the recipe, I have it on keg now it's pretty good. I brewed all-grain and added a little more roasted 5oz and less peat malt 1oz and used nottingham yeast. It's a good recipe
