Here is my Award winning American Pale Ale :rockin:

    Malt lbs
    74.1 % 8 American Two-row Pale
    9.3 % 1 Victory Malt
    4.6 % 0.50 German Munich
    4.6 % 0.50 Crystal 40L
    2.3 % 0.25 Belgian Aromatic
    2.3 % 0.25 Wheat Malt
    1.4 % 0.15 Crystal 60L
    1.4 % 0.15 CaraPils

    Hops
    40.0 % 1.00 Amarillo Pellet 7.0%AA 60 min
    20.0 % 0.50 Citra Pellet 12.0%AA 10 min
    20.0 % 0.50 Amarillo Pellet 7.0%AA 0 min
    20.0 % 0.50 Citra Pellet 12.0%AA 0 min

I mashed at 152 F for the winning batch. This was the 3rd time I made it, some hop changes made a difference as well as the addition of the Wheat (head retention) and the Crystal 60 (I think). It is just a little sweeter than before, but I think it makes a difference it still finishes crisp and clean, but that little bit of sweetness helps.

MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A YEAST STARTER!! IT WILL NOT BE AS GOOD WITHOUT IT!!
    Yeast starters are crucial
