Depending where you live... but I think I will go to bed earlier than most... even if I have had 10beers.

I should send you the mornings paper... like this is what will happen tomorrow.
    Yep bottom of the earth...

NO NO NO.... stop thinking.. no... thank **** NO... NOT Australia...!

The land ... of Aussies... "Yea mate" give me a break... crimminals...yep thats what they are...

    Any way posting from NZ..

This is the start of my first home brew beer in 20years.. and no **** that beer 20 years ago was just plan .... (kid show).."crap". there siad it!

so this is my start... no pissing around I am going stright to all grain.

    My issuies are...

    - I am border line ... obsesive when it come to hobbies
    - I start, I finish when it sorted.
-This is not always a good ideia...
    -Cost heaps of cash....
    -Not good.
-And I drink far to much.

i am a simple man with a great life... and my plan is to make beer that my mates dont laugh at.. cause they are now... they remember the **** I made 20years ago.

I want to be a great beer maker...... Ok ... great lover would be better but due to the wind... I got the drink beer gain. yea and thanks.......

So here is my first investment...

    Paderno World Cuisine
Stainless Steel 52-3/4 Quart Stock Pot
    40.5cm high by 42cm diam

The 52 1/2 quart stainless steel stock pot, with its tri-metal bottom, is used most commonly for simmering. It is ideal for making soup, as the equal lengths of its diameter and height limit evaporation.

    Features and Benefits:
Exterior And Interior Satin Polished Finish With Ergonomic Stay Cool Hollow Handles

Thermo Radiant Stainless Steel/Aluminum/Stainless Steel Bottom, Concave When Cold And Perfectly Flat Upon Heating

    Lipped Non Dripping Edges

    Induction ready

And for $55 NZ... got to be happy.
Also on the watch list are 2 Stainless kegs.
But I am thinking ... maybe they can wait.

My home brew goal is to make great beer and save $50 per week. The money I save I am able to spend on equipment.. cool. So based on that the ongoing tally is
Spent $61 saving $0.... lets keep note.

Goal.. all grain brewing.... no buying starter kit... I want
    temp controlled brewing chamber
freezer keg thing... with room to lager and carbonate while still pouring good beer.. 2 kegs to start with...
Auto controlled brew system is the final goal... all DIY I will add.

I used to have a 1000L marine fish tank that was fully auto... a PLC ran the whole thing. It was even hooked up to the house alarm so I got a text if anything went wrong.

So next up is a carboy... no plastic here.
Then a chillibin for a mash tun.
    Then the brewing will start.

I have accumulated 4doz 750ml bottles so far with the addition of a doz more each week until my first brew is ready.... 6 weeks from start.

I have tested the new pot and I can turn on 3 elements and get the thing boiling... so gas burners will wait.

People that i will be leaning on for particular talents.

    Electronic engineer
    Electrician - industrial
Air conditioning expert... and company owner... cheap copper here!
    Specialized tig welder engineering expert
    Builder

and me... I can do all of the above but with limited skill.... the above are experts of their field.... and they all like beer!
