Hey everyone! Getting back into all grain brewing, after a 7 year hiatus. Unfortunately staring over completely for equipment. I would like to be able to brew up to 10 gallon batches, so thinking of a 20 gallon kettle. I have a line on a keggle for the HLT, and will use a 10 gallon IGLOO cooler for MLT for now. Will be gas fired. There are so many companies making equipment now. Would like to keep the price of the kettle at no more than $400. I've narrowed my choices down to the kettles below.

If someone has another kettle they recommend, I'm all beers...

I have a 10 gallon BrewBuilt that I love. Great construction, notched lid if you want to have the lid on while you have an IC in, and the biggie for me...welded fittings.

They have a 22 gallon version that may be worth a look.

I have two Ss Brewtech fermenters with FTSs cooling (glycol) systems so I can vouch for the quality of their products including their customer service. I do not have their kettle to be honest, but they are sure to be outstanding.

My brother in law has the Edlemetall kettle with WP tangential port. I have never brewed with that kettle but he is not pleased with it for some reason. He likes the Brewtech Brew Master kettle, wants to sell his and buy the Ss Brewtech.

I have two Blichmann G2's (non-electric), one 10G and one 20G. I like their valves and my 10G has a WP arm with the linear flow valve I like. I don't think I could find a better kettle for me personally.

Given the two choices you presented....Ss Brewtech.
