I have recently acquired a kegerator from a family member. The price was right but the only problem is that it will only fit a 1/4-barrel of commercial beer. The inside dimensions are 19" wide 17.5 " deep and 20" tall. So I cannot get my 5 gal cornies to fit inside. I am sure that I am not the only brewer to have this problem. Does any one know of a way I can fabricate or buy a container that will hold 5 gallons of homebrew and fit these dimensions? I am trying not to buy 2- 2.5 gal keg's to fit one batch of beer.

It’s a shame to have to drink another mans beer when you can make your own:(

    Please help

You could easily refill a commercial "short" quarter sanke w/ homebrew. Either increase your batch size or just fill 5 and purge the headspace w/ co2.
