    I have this thermocouple.

    and this PID controller

my question is, can i stick any old wire (thinking CAT-5 cable) in between the PID and the contacts to extend the range of the PIDs (its for a control panel setup.

I've seen lots of talk, but no straight answers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
