Still a relatively new brewer and only have one 5-gal carboy at the moment, but I keep hearing about how much I need to get into kegging. I'm still under $100 in equipment and like things on the cheap, but I'm interested in seeing if anyone has any information on getting into kegging for ultra cheap, if possible.

Bottles are a good learning experience for me, and since i'm doing so many small batches at once, it seems reasonable. I don't label anything yet (besides some sticky notes) so it might get confusing pretty soon.

I have 1 keg since I am in an apartment. I just bought a cheap, $100 something dollar mini fridge from walmart. I bought a used ball lock keg, 5# co2 tank and picnic tap. I got most of what I needed for a total of under $200.

As a newer Brewer, I'll give my opinion. I have never bottled, I was lucky enough to find a kegerator at a great price. I love having my home brew on tap! If you like to share your brews with friends, legging will make you seem like a rock star!
