If imitation is the highest form of flattery, then Scubasteve should be blushing, as his brew stand has inspired me to go the same route.

The cedar stand is assembled, and I am now working on the difficult task of mounting the hurricane burners (God those things are heavy!)

My question is how much space should I have between the burner and the bottom of the keggle? And Scuba, if you happen to read this, how did you mount those bad boys? (the pictures in your build thread seem to have disappeared).

Since the heat is spread out, there isn't any reason for more than than an inch clearance.
