Infection?!?!

I know I know I know. Just relax. But I've never brewed a hefe nor have I seen it do this before. I'm almost positive I'm over reacting. I've been brewing for years and no where near a noob. Just want some others opinions on this bad boy.

 

looks like normal suds on the top, I'd guess the hanging is a protein glob.

Wrap your carboy in something opaque. Then you can't see the nastiness that is fermentation

Its infected with...yeast!!! The yeast you dumped in there to make beer!!! Yum

 

This is the one reason I don't mind using a bucket as my primary... I can't see anything to get me paranoid during fermentation
