Infection?!?!

    I know I know I know. Just relax. But I've never brewed a hefe nor have I seen it do this before. I'm almost positive I'm over reacting. I've been brewing for years and no where near a noob. Just want some others opinions on this bad boy.

    looks like normal suds on the top, I'd guess the hanging is a protein glob.

    Wrap your carboy in something opaque. Then you can't see the nastiness that is fermentation ;)

    Its infected with...yeast!!! The yeast you dumped in there to make beer!!! Yum

    This is the one reason I don't mind using a bucket as my primary... I can't see anything to get me paranoid during fermentation :)
