    Hi all,

I dryhopped tonight in my glass carboy and pulled the blowoff hose off to do so...If I touched the part of the blowoff hose that actually goes into the carboy, am I at a large risk of infection now? After I realized this, I went back, reopened the carboy and dipped the end into the blowoff bucket that has starsan and water... after reading that there's a chance that the starsan solution may not be as concentrated because of my vicious fermentation and krausen overflow into the bucket, I prepared a new solution and dipped it in that just in case. Thx!

Calm down man. Your beer will be fine. Cheers.

Edit. I see its your first post. Welcome to HBT. Your beer will still be fine. Wash your hands.

Good god, man! What did you have on your finger to get so worked up?!?

Don't worry, dude. By now there's enough alcohol in the carboy to ward off whatever you had on your finder/hand. If you get an infection, it's not from this episode.

I have star sans in the sink and give my hands a good soak when I am touching stuff.
