    Lost our priming sugar, I was told you can use regular sugar! Please fill me in! Thx

    Yes

    2/3 cup for 5 gallon.

    Some may say you have to weigh it.

    You have a few different options, Try searching for priming calculators and ingredients.

    I've never used priming sugar. Always DME.

    Interresting.

    Will the DME at priming change something (taste).

    I read somewhere that it was not recommanded to use DME.

    You may have to slightly change the amount used, but yes, sucrose works just fine. I'd recommend using a calculator anyway. Most allow you to select either sucrose or dextrose. DME works, but you have to have a good idea as to how fermentable it is, and calculate from there. Most product spec sheets tell you how fermentable an extract is.
