So I'm planning on a big brewing session around my 2nd year anniversary to brewing. But I am quickly running out of beer as I'm coming up with the plans for that. So I need ideas on beer to make for the time in between. I'm probably going to do 4 brews. Here's ideas so far.

    1) "Enjoy By" clone
    2) ?
    3) Redo a Pale ale recipe of mine and tween it
    4) some sort of light lager

Any ideas for the 2nd brew and the 4th brew would be appreciated. I've already got two hop styles I'm brewing so looking for something different. Thanks
    :)

I like stouts this time of year. A few breweries are putting out chocolate peanut butter stouts, that might be fun.

For #2, I'll suggest something in the stout/porter/brown range. I have a good brown ale recipe if you want (pretty close to SN's Tumbler) and I'd recommend Airborneguy's Atonement Porter (in the recipe database).

For #4, I'd go with something basic and classic - a nice German Pils. Or if you want something more malty, a Helles.

Mmm that peanut butter porter or stout idea sounds good. All malty choices. I like it. Ya if you don't mind sharing, what's that brown recipe. The helles sounds really good too.

Try something crazy that you've never heard of that you think might work. That would be fun. I want to do that sometime, but with only 5 extract batches, I'm not at the level yet.

Thanks for the recipe! Maybe I'll do this with the peanut butter!

And MrSpaz, I'm planning a big brew schedule with lots of experiments soon. I'll post about that when I start it :D
