Hydrometer reading

    hey guys I just wanna make sure I’m reading this right, does this say 1050? The beer was at 62 degrees

    The direct reading looks like 1.010 or 1.011 (trying to read it at the meniscus). For temperature correction you need to know the calibration temperature of your hydrometer - it should be printed on the paper scale. Then look it up in a correction table.

    Somewhere between 1.010 and 1.012 depending on temp. That doesn't look level or stable (or like the hydrometer is free floating) so it's hard to say for certain. Definitely not 1.050.

    Looks like 1.010 to me. That brew is probably finished.
