We have realized that some brewers were favored with the longer sensor's probe. We have produced a small bulk of 12" probe sensor. It can work with Inkbird ITC-1000, ITC-308, ITC-306T, ITC-2000, ITC-310T.

Perhaps a bit more complicated, but a lot neater: I opened the case, unsoldered the original probe from the circuit board, and soldered in the new one. If you are comfortable working with electronics in this manner, it is actually quite an easy job. The wires and strain relief fit perfectly (no surprise there), and you don't have a dangling splice.

Just got this one figured out. If you want to put a 3.5mm stereo plug on the original probe, the white wire goes to the base of the plug, the black wire goes to the tip, and the middle (barrel) section of the plug is not used.

Also, my original probe reads 1.1F higher than my 12" probe. If that difference matters to you, you may want to calibrate the Inkbird when changing probes.
