hot water with iodophor???

    i always used iodofor with cold water.
    Now the guy who runs the LBS says to use hot water.
    Whats the answer?

    I think the bottle says cool to lukewarm and NEVER HOT.

    Hot water will make it break down fast.

    I have always used cold water and never have heard of hot water for iodofor.

    Never use hot hot water. It will only work with cold.

    The guy who makes iodophor says cold water.

    This was a follow-up question answered the Basic Brewing episode after the actual iodophor one, so I think the quote is actually in first part of the starsan episode.
