I brewed a bavarian hef kit a week ago, it had 2 packs of hop pellets. Right now it has a green film on top of the beer that looks like the hops. Was i supposed to strain the wort as it was going into the carboy? Will it settle into the beer, and if it is still there when i rack, what should i do?

    Thanks for any help

It'll fall eventually. After about 14-21 days, take a gravity reading to make sure that it has done fermenting. Then bring the temp down close to freezing, a few degrees above and leave it for 3-4 more days. Cold crashing will lead to a clearer beer, before bottling.

It will settle. But worst cast scenario and it doesn't settle, then just siphon out from underneath the film into the bottling bucket. And if a few flecks of hops end up in the bottle, it just adds character to your beer.
