Can the specialty grains be steeped in a hop spider instead of a muslin bag when extract brewing? Seems to me one could, just want to know if anyone has done this and if it works well?
    Thanks,

It depends on what your hop spider is made of, and how fine it is, and how big it is - as long as it keeps malt debris out of the wort, and is big enough to let the water get in around all the grains.
