I just brewed northern brewers Patersbier and i goofed on the hop additions and was just wondering what difference it will make in the beer.
    It called for
    1 oz hallertua @ 60
    1/2 oz Saaz @ 60
    1/2 oz Saaz @ 10

I goofed and added all Saaz @ 10

    the rest of the Recipe:
    8oz carapils specialty grain
    6 lb Pilsen LME
    wyeast trappist high gravity

I'm sure it will be great beer, just wondering if it will make much difference and what the difference will be.

You should be OK, it just won’t be as biter.

I brewed that same beer myself just out of curiosity. Your fine with the late addition on the .5oz of Saaz its a low alpha acid hop so your not getting a lot of bitterness out of that hop. If anything you'll get a bit more flavor and aroma out of the hops now with the extra late addition.

How did yours turn out? I added only about 1 lb lme at 60 and then the last 5 lbs at flame out to try to keep the color on target. It turned out very light in color and is happily bubbleing away.
