Hop Harvest Party - Lockport (North of Buffalo), NY

Some friends of mine have started farming their 6th generation farm in Lockport, NY. They've converted some of the farm land to hop yards, and are having their first harvest this year.

They are holding a public Hop Harvest party this Saturday, August 25th. They've already harvested and dried Cascades and Centennials, which will be available for sale along with the fresh Wet Cascades that will be harvested that day.

Buffalo's new craft brewery, Community Beer Works, will be on hand with a beer made from McCollum Orchard Hops as well.
