    Yeast:
    WY 1272 + WY 1968
    Yeast Starter:
    Separate Stir Plates, DME 24 hr
    Additional Yeast or Yeast Starter:
    US-05 Starter (as above) Pitched @ 5d
    Batch Size (Gallons):
    5.5
    Original Gravity:
    1.091
    Final Gravity:
    1.022
    Boiling Time (Minutes):
    75
    IBU:
    Tinseth = 118.75
    Color:
    11 SRM
    Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp):
    7 days @ 68'F
    Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp):
    7 days @ 68'F
    Tasting Notes:
    (STILL CONDITIONING)
    This is an Imperial IPA recipe that I made. I buy hops by the pound, otherwise it would be really expensive. I will be cold crashing, fining with gelatin, and kegging it after secondary. I will update this with tasting notes once it is on tap.

    Pale Ale Malt
    5.5# Locally Grown/Malted 2-Row Barley
    1# Victory Malt
    1# White Wheat Malt
    0.5# Crystal 40L
    0.5# Crystal 60L
    0.25# CaraPils (Dextrine Malt)
    0.5# Flaked Barley
    1# Light DME
    0.75# Caramelized Invert Syrup (Homemade)

    HOPS
    (FWH)
    0.75 oz Chinook
    0.5 oz Cascade
    0.5 oz Centennial
    (30 Min)
    1.25 oz Cascade
    1.5 oz Centennial
    (10 Min)
    1 oz Centennial
    (Whirlpool)
    2.0 oz Centennial
    1.5 oz Cascade
    0.25 Chinook
    (Dry Hop @ High Krausen for Biotransformation)
    2.5 oz Citra
    1.5 oz Centennial
    1 oz Cascade

    OTHER
    7 g
    Gypsum (added to boil)
    1 ea Whirlfloc Tablet (10 min boil)
    1 ea Knox Gelatin Powder Sachet (Cold Crash and Fine)

    I live in Philadelphia, so I get it at Philly Homebrew Outlet West. I dunno exactly where they are sourcing it, but I think it is a farm in Lansdale.

    They carry Double Eagle Malt, which is up in Bryn Athyn.
