Built it like I did my 5 gal but I have one slight problem. It's a little wobbly. I think the problem is the washers in using. Notice on the spigot to the left the washer appears to be overlapping the opening to the spigot area, whereas the other I just built fits perfectly inside. 5/8 washer. Thoughts?

I poured about 4 gallons in there to test for leaks. Nothing obvious. I'm also using two o rings thinking that would help inside take up space for grip.

I had to use multiple washer on the outside to get mine nice and sturdy. I do not remember the sizes but I ended up using three.

What's on the inside? I use another washer and O-ring, plus coupler.

It only needs to seal from the inside out, so it doesn't matter about O-rings on the outside; a larger washer is more important. You could even go smaller washer that fits inside the depression, followed by a larger washer on top of it.

    Good luck!

I use three washers as well, might want to add more.

    Cheers!

I'm cool with it being wobbly so long as there are no leaks. I'm thinking if it didn't leak with 4 gallons of water inside then it should be okay...right?

If it seals, you will be okay. On the outside I have three, that fill the gap between the valve, and the side of the cooler for sturdiness. But only used one on the inside.

Hmm, alright, It's probably sealed but I know me..and I'm going to become annoyed that it's not secure and wish I had done it right. I'll probably go out and get some more washers and teflon tape. That's got me a little nervous as well even though I'm pretty sure it's unnecessary.
