I'm in the midst of building my control panel. I have some illuminated LED rocker switches but can't figure out how to wire them. There are 4 pins on the bottom. Pin 1, 2, 3-, 3+. I get that pin 1 and 2 are for the actual switch and pin 3-/+ is for the LED, but I have no idea how to wire it! Can anyone shed some light on this?

What needs to be done may be somewhat specific to the switches...if there is a dropping resistor already in the switch, etc. Brand/model and part number would be helpful.

Looks like your switch has an led rated for 10mamps. So if you have 12vdc for the light use a 1.2k ohm resistor in series with the led.
