Help my special needs daughter win an adaptive tricycle

That's a good idea, but not sure exactly how to do it. I go a link in the signature, just not as fancy.

 

It caught my attention. I voted for Lydia and donated so hopefully some other lucky children can get a chance at getting a bike at a later date.

Did the number of bikes available in the raffle decrease? I swear it was at 4 bikes, but now it's at 2.

Talk about small world. My niece-in-law is in on the same contest. She's got no diagnosis (it's not your fault science), but her specialists considered Rett and Angelman's.

 

Anyone know if Lydia won? Site seems to be down right now.

 

Looks like 203 kids going for 11 trikes, so it's statistically unlikely. Lydia did get a lot of votes though, much more than most, although some of those kids got thousands of votes. I don't know if the number of nominations made any difference in the drawing.

 

Does anyone know how much one of those trikes costs?

 

I googled it. Depending on model, around $1100-1400.

 

Results will be posted tomorrow at 12 Eastern.

I am sorry to see that it doesn't look like she won. I am even sorrier that some of these deserving kids didn't even get enough nominations to even be in the drawing. I am depressed now. I am going to have to get off my fat butt and do some more good deeds soon.

 

I happy for those winners, they all look like great kids. However, I am sorry for our nominee and all the rest. I wish I could afford to buy them all bikes.

 

Sorry to hear Lydia was not a winner. It must be disappointing.

Side note, congrats to the kids that did win. Im sure each one was deserving of their prize.

 

Thank you to everyone who voted for Lydia. She got almost 600 votes! And that makes us feel great. Although she didn't win a bike, the company who makes them has offered participants a 35% discount which we plan to take advantage of.
