    Hello!

I've been brewing brewferm kits for a couple of months and want to get a bit more serious by moving to AG.

I live in an appartment (for the moment), so i don't really have space for doing huge batches, but since i will be mainly brewing for myself, 20L batches should be more than enough.

    Here's what i have:
2x 30L plastic bucket with taps and bubblers
    Hydrometer
    Thermometer
    2m hose
    Capper and bottles

I've been looking for electric kettles, because I'm affraid my stove might be too weak. Would the 27L brewferm Pro be a good choice? also should i get a wort chiller or is there something more important i should get first?

European online shops or shops that ship to europe only, please.

    Thanks for the attention.

I wouldn't mess with anything other then a good wort chiller, they are not that expensive, and there is absolutely no way you could cool any faster then with a good chiller, except maybe liquid nitrogen.
The Brewferm pro looks like a nice kettle but I think it is a bit steeply priced. I myself use a stainless 2000w 30LGluhwein kettle, wich I modified some, I insulated the outside with bubble foil, built an override switch for the thermostat purely for boiling on full wack, I also installed a thermowell and digital mash thermometer, couldn't be more happy with it. If you want more automation though your brewferm pro seems like a good buy. I use a filter hex for sparging which kan be easily installed in one of your buckets. or in the kettle. I never had any stuck sparges with it, and my latest efficiency was 83% so no complaints there
I prefer it in a bucket so I can sparge, and put some heat under the first runnings at the same time, saves some minutes to get things boiling. Also very handy is a grain mill if you plan on buying bulk grain, or if you wish to mill finer for better efficiency.

The Braumeister setups are really popular in Europe from what I've read but they're pricey.

Thank you for the answer, I looked up that arsegan kettle but couldn't find much info about it. Is it reliable?

I don’t own own, but some people on the Dutchs forums seem to be happy with it. Buiid quality is not as good as a brauwmeister or some of the higher priced ones, but in all fairness, you can’t ecpect it to be at that price!
