brewing beer leads to happy life

I love this beer. Its like perfect. Nice crisp citrus finish but with a nice malt backbone. Not to heavy. Its really wonderful to me.

The website lists it at 5.0 abv and 42 ibu

It doesnt list what kind of hops give that perfect character.

Can anyone help me with a recipe or a confirmed knowledge of what hops are used in this brew.

    Thanks ever so much.

thanks but i read both of those already. im not convinced that the hops are all amarillo as one thread suggests.

I am hoping that someone might know more specifics.

Pride and Joy has been hit or miss from when I've had it (based on freshness, I'm sure). Sometimes it is perfectly hoppy and sessionable, and others it is bland. I wouldn't have guessed an all-Amarillo hop from that one link. I thought maybe there was some Cascade in there.

If you decide to brew this post back with results please. I was in Indianapolis this past weekend and went to the Tomlinson Tap and had this beer and was blown away. One of my top 3 beers of all times, It just so clean and refreshing tasting would be perfect to have for summer time. Keep us updated. Im pretty new to homebrewing so I don't have much to offer, But best of luck

My tasting notes say to increase the dry hop amounts and go for 7 days at least. I dont think i had carapils in my recipe I think that was a typo.
Of course I have no idea what hops are in pride and joy. My brew is a bit lighter but is a really good beer which is going into the archives as a winner.

Tastes kind of resiny--maybe Columbus or Chinook for bittering. Amarillo for late hops, definitely.
