hey bros, searching around online I am finding some nice little freezers at Best Buy, Mendards, etc but I can't tell if they'll fit my two corny kegs.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a little freezer that I can convert to a Keezer and it will hold my to Ball Lock corny's?

What did you buy for your corny kegs? Cheaper is better, but I'm hoping to get this done next week..

Send me a link if you see something.

    thanks, bros!!

I went to the habitat for humanity restore. There is probably one in your area just google it. I got a 3 year old fridge in spotless condition for $140 and they have a 2 week return policy. They had freezers as well.

Danby makes a 3.5 Cu Ft. freezer that will hold 2 cornies with a collar. I recommend this freezer. It's well built.

Without a collar you're looking at a 5 cu ft. model. I'd go with a Lowes model if you want cheap.

It's hard to say. To fit 2 corny kegs you need minimum of the inside depth of the fridge to be 26 inches in height and corny kegs are roughly 9inches wide so you would need 18 inches wide. Plus you need to factor in if your co2 tank will be held inside or outside the fridge. So roughly you need a 18x18x26.

Check craigslist. There are always people selling homebrew stuff. I scored a 14cu ft keezer on there.

Been scouring Craigslist, but there are so many homebrewers in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area that there are more "wanted" ads for them.. so, I'll buy new I suppose

If you add a collar, just about any freezer will hold 2 cornies. One on the floor, one on the hump with your CO2 tank.

It takes some time to build, but it also allows you to add a temp controller without drilling holes in your freezer. All you need is access to a chop saw, some screws, glue, and some foam insulation.

There's a table in this thread that might prove helpful in finding what model fits what kegs...

    Cheers!

Plus 1 on this statement most freezers are only a few dollars less than buying a new one a 7.1 cubic feet is a good size. I cant ever find deals on craigslist. Welcome to the forums.

Try Craigslist. I got my fridge there for free and then converted it to a kegerator. Works great and the price was right!

EDIT: I see this has already been covered. Well, check back often. Deals always seem to pop up here on CL.
