Does anyone know if you can pull that little "rocket" out of the Guinness draught bottles?

    I LOVE guinness bottles!

Get a pair of needle nose pliers (with the rought jaws, not smooth)

With a little practice, you can pull it out pretty quickly.

Then Slit the plastic label with a small knife (but not straight on, or you will scatch the bottle and dull the knife).

    You're done!

Yep, Homercidal's method works great. I use those bottles too (used to anyway).

They're labeled 11.2 ounces (or something like that), but without the Rocket Widget, they're actually a full 12 oz.

Deal with the "rocket" exactly as described above- a pair of needle-nose pliers, and after you've done one or two, it gets even easier. These are terrific bottles, because the Plastic label uses NO adhesive, thus there are NO delabeling issues. I'd take all of these I could get.
