    Hello,

Recently started home brewing, just racked a Imperial Blonde Ale to secondary and literally right after noticed tons of white spots appearing on top.

After lots of research I assured myself it was just yeast rafts or c02.

However I woke up this morning and they are getting bigger. That is what is starting to worry me.

I have attached two photos to show what it looks like.

I am really hoping that this is just a case of beginner worries and its totally normal and not an infection or mold growing.

From the pictures, they just look like CO2 bubbles to me.

It looks fine. It definitely doesn't look like anything to worry about.

From looking at the picture, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

My last batch looked very similar. I posted about the same thing and everyone assured me it was completely normal. It sucks having the first time brewer worries. Your batch looks great.

Thanks everyone! Pretty hard taking decent photos through a carboy but glad to know. I won't worry anymore.

Its fine now but that is not ideal headspace for secondary and signs are that its releasing co2. I wouldn't secondary it very long. Infections seem to happen more often with more headspace in secondary. It looks completely fine though.
