Meh, you can watch any effing thing you want to online, but guess what??

PEOPLE IN HERE DON'T WANT TO.

    lol, ;)

But seriously, most people on streaming are watching it on their big screen and don't want to puter (even with a cord connected to said tv).

    EXACTLY.

I deep sixed HULU partly because their interface made Netflix look like it was designed by R2D2 himself, while Hulu Plus was designed by a half dead mole-rat with it's brain removed.

Roku's interface is half as good as Netflix on the wii, but they are obviously trying.

Have you played with the Hulu Desktop that they silently came out with a few years ago and then buried? I think you can still find it online, and has not been updated in a while, but I use it to integrate HULU into WMC and works well and looks lots better. I do not pay for the service though. I am cheap.

Just noticed that Terminator 2, Super Troopers, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off are all on there... Somehow missed those in the past. :)

I stream through Roku or Wii. Hate watching my puter!;) Good info though. Thanks.

T2 is a SOLID movie. Super Troopers is an overlooked gem. FB's DO is classic!

I am with you, but for the most part, we Netflix streamers are not the "home network" "PC" guys that you are.

I love my macbook because I don't have to eff with it.

I love my wii because EVERYTHING is so effing easy and works so well...(except Hulu Plus, what a piece of SH*T!)

I have a Roku because the wii doesn't stream everything and the roku does damned near everything.

Valhalla Rising is fantastic. It's beautifully shot; every single frame would look gorgeous as a print. It requires considerable attention, and the pacing may not be for everyone (slow, almost hypnotic, punctuated with brief moments of understated violence), but I loved it.

    Me too!

First time I was expecting more I think. Second time I knew it was flashy and funny and not much more.

It does a LOT right, but some of it is stoooopid.

The chick who seduces people, fools people, fights pretty well is somehow in the same league as the HULK?

Same with the bow and arrow guy. I didn't like his character, and his "Super powers" with the bow were ridiculous.

The fact that he was hitting fast moving targets (between the eyes) 3 or 4 stories above or below him was ridiculous at best, but the "No look" shot was beyond impossible. It was mind numbingly DUMB.

While the movie doesn't explain ****, Black Widow is supposed to basically be a female form of Captain America. A super human. Though she's not as strength enhanced as the Cap'n.

Hawkeye is lame as ****. But I mean he's more or less like the Batman of the group. How can Batman stack up to the Flash or Superman in terms of superhero powers, but I digress.

I'd say tony stark was the Batman of the group. Take away the suits and he's still iron man... But what can he do? I guess we'll find out in avengers 2.

Except the iron man suit is way more awesome than the bat suit. He can take the hammer of Thor or a tank shell

There was a (sort of) recent remake of THAT Avengers as well, starring Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman. It was horrible. Not sure if it's on Netflix, though.

Of course it would be horrible. The essence of a TV show like that would be impossible to capture after the original. Kinda like the TV Batman shows. You just can't reproduce wacky camp like they made it in the '60s........Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing!!! :drunk:

Watching Sahara now. Netflix recently added a feature to help you chose a movie and this is what it choose for me. I'll post how it is after... might watch Dead Snow instead if it is boring..

I've gotta say that Sahara was solid. It didn't try to be Indiana Jones (like the douchebaggery of National Treasure) but was good in it's own way.

I just started Moonshiners which is free on netflix. A TV show about the moon shining industry in the VA Appalachians, pretty addicting and its hard not to drink some sort of distilled liquid while watching it lol
