Finding conflicting info on the interwebs.

Does wort from golden promise need to be boiled 90 min?

no it does not, I boil all my beers for 90 regardless of the grain myself but thats because my system makes me sparge too much and it works out perfect at 90.

I do love Golden promise grain better that any other but it is a bit higher by the 55 pound bag

I love Golden Promise, especially when making Scottish styles. I have never boiled it for more than 60 minutes.

Why don't you adjust things so that you don't collect too much for the boil.

tried that and it cant be done with my system, I have a different set up that most, I recirculate with a rims for both the main mash then drain and also a fresh water recirculation sparge, I just need the extra water to cover the grain bed, I realize I could just add just enough and discard the rest, more is better right lol

Are you doing a fly sparge? If so you keep the water above the grain bed and collect wort until you have a certain pH or until you have collected your preboil amount - then stop????

    More is better? Not necessarily.
