Hey all, I wired up a fridge from the internal thermostat to a stc-1000 and just wanted to make sure the wire nut approach was ok inside a fridge. Or do the connections need to be soldered?

    Thanks!

I would soldier and add some shrink wrap to help make it more water proof. You will likely get some condensation, so best to be as safe as possible...

It wont really be a major problem but you could always put electrical tape around the bottom of the nut and seal it up. Np

All fixed up! Thanks for the advice everyone. Not the cleanest solders, but they seem to be holding. And shrink tube hides all
