Founders Dirty Bastard yeast

Had a couple dirty bastards, and noticed sediment in the bottom. Didn't know they were bottled carbed, but had some small vials of starter wort ready and got a small starter going. Took off pretty quickly and after stepping up several times, ended up a nice yeast to store.

Went and googled for what kind of yeast it might be, and nothing comes up about it. Does anyone know what Founders uses?

I'm not sure this is accurate, but you could try emailing them; based on what I've heard, they are pretty forthcoming with recipes so I imagine they'll tell you what kind of yeast they use.

 

I tried to email them a while ago about their All Day IPA but I couldn't find their email address on the website. Am I dumb, or did they take it down?

In other news, the last time I looked at their tap list they had a beer called Lil' Bastard. A session Scotch Ale?
