I'm getting ready to brew my first batch. I ordered the Gigayeast Vermont yeast. I had it packaged with an ice pack but it was pretty warm when it got to me. It is now in the fridge.

    Should I be concerned?

Also, I'm only doing a 2.5 gallon for my first time. Any way I can preserve the remaining yeast?

    TIA
