    American pale ale
    10 lbs 2 row
    2 lbs crystal 60
    .5 oz galaxy home grown @ 60
    .5 oz galaxy @ 30
    1 oz cascade homegrown @ 5
    1 oz cascade dryhop 5 days
    Us-05 yeast
    Est ibu 39.0
    Est og 1.056
    Est fg. 1.012

    I think the plan is fairy solid.

    The beer will be a lot more balanced and crisp if you cut the crystal to 8% of your bill. This will still leave you a happy medium of sweetness and body but not overly cloying.

    I would also consider working some of the galaxy into the late additions and dry hop. I'm jealous you have home grown galaxy - very cool!

    Oh - post results :) I think a lot of people would like to hear your thoughts on galaxy - not a lot of feedback on it out there.

    Thanks yeah I was kinda suprized at the galaxy my dads neighbor has galaxy cascade willamett and giggles what I have is last years but I am going next week he has a lb and a half of each for me from this years crop
