    Hi guys,

I'm brewing a festa brew pale ale kit and added one pound of pale dry malt extract to raise the initial density.
    OG: 1065
    FG: could this be 1018

There is no more activity, no more clarification in the second fermenter.
Been in the primary for 2 weeks and 1 keek in the second. Looks like if all activity was ended before the second.

Tasted the wort, it's really good!

The room temp was consistant at 22C

Have you ever add a final density of 1018?

    thanks for sharing,

    MA

I've never done a Festa kit, but I've had more than a few extract batches end up at 1.018 or higher (called the 1.020 curse around here). It sounds done.

Yea should be done....Here we go again. No need to secondary unless you are adding something extra like fruit.
