    The krausen is bubbling into the airlock, as you can see. It is not exiting the airlock, as you can see it is all in the vodka. So the only risk is the possibility of having to clean up a mess if I dont rig a blow off tube? The beer will still be ok?

    The beer will be fine, open up the airlock and use center pipe as a place to slide your blowoff tube. It'll keep you from having a mess and possible contamination if you don't seal up the airlock again as soon as.the krausen falls.

    i'd suggest a blowoff tube. the beer'll be fine, but a blow off will make your life easier, and possibly cleaner.
