That's laughable. I for one feel its been equally shi++y in all games, for all teams. I expect an overhaul of referee practices soon. What do you guys think about a coach's challenge flag? If you are wrong, you get 2 minute minor?

Another game that should be a blowout for Jersey but they keep letting them hang around. I realize the fans are frustrated also but whining every time one of their players falls or gets touched is getting old, I know they're smarter than that.

What do you get if you challenge a suspension and you're wrong?

You can only challenge a call on the ice. Before the drop of the puck. You get another player in the box along with the original infraction.

nice, touche... but I just don't get it. I'm not a pred fan, I like 'em, like the way they play, but not a fan. I didn't think they really had any rivals (to the point that their fans hate each other) since they haven't been around long, so it surprised me to see someone that just flat out doesn't like 'em. At least that's the impression that I got. Maybe if you're a St. Louis fan (at least they didn't suck as bad as them in the playoffs!)

When they first came here the crowds were over 50% in wings jersey's, they're are a lot of Michigan transplants here. Trust me when I say that people here hate the Wings, and the Preds have ALWAYS had a chip on they're shoulder when it comes to Detroit.
14 years is plenty of time to build animosity.

It seems that ex predators have a way of ending playoff series with stupid plays.

Didn't know Bryz played for Nashville at some point...

It went off Clarkson, wasn't an own goal, so technically you're wrong. Stop texting the forum.

Go Sixers, I guess...up 3-1 over the 1 seed Bulls.

Kudos to the Devils. I'm kinda pissed that series made me forget what it was like to have a team that played offense.

Poor passing and decision making forced by the devils forecheck crushed us.

Bryz will unfortunately and unfairly be remembered for the bad goal, but you can't really knock the guys play otherwise. Which is hard for me not to do because he basically lost the game with the play.

I'm on the Devils bandwagon officially. What of it!

I want Caps over the Rangers and I guess Phoenix to win the Cup. Don't want to see Richards and Carter fondling it. Wouldn't mind seeing Justin Williams and Simon Gagne hoist it though. Definitely not the Rangers or Devils. But I am enjoying how both teams play right now.

Let's go LA! They've been the most exciting team by far. I'm happy that the Flyers are finally gone, Scott Hartnell's hair was getting hard to look at.

Late to the party (didn't post last night): Lot's of cheap shots and petty sh_t from the Flyers to no avail.

Ironic to see the Flyers downfall start because of an offside play (given game 1 against Pittsburgh). :)

Yes, but Bryz just had to push it behind the net or to the other side of the boards and not try to make a pass a forward would on a power play trying to go through Clarksons legs.

I'll bet a case of homebrew that the blues make the conference finals next year. Any takers?

I know I'm a Devs fan but Iraqi it was too close to call. I wouldve only web off because he lifted his leg, it was still on sides. Whatever, Devils deserved the series anyway.

I only saw a clip of it, it didn't look like he had much time to react. It certainly wasn't a wise decision, but that's exactly why you don't dump the puck in on your own goalie to save your ass.

He had plenty of time, and just made a bad play. It was a total fluke that it redirected into his 5 hole. That being said, he should have made the play sooner, or made the safe play to the side boards. I've played on a few teams where our goalie was not a good puck handler, but they thought they could contribute more if the made outlet passes. Nothing is more frustrating for a defenseman. Brodeur is headed this direction in a hurry.

Dill hole could also have played the puck around the end boards instead of putting it on net. I know we're all experts here;), but that's the way I see it. If it gets played around the back of the net, that goal never happens, it's always easiest to blame the last link in the chain.

Or he could have just covered it. Or Timonen could have flipped the puck at Clarkson's face.

Reality is that the Flyers didn't score enough in that series, let alone that game.

Yeah, ironic that the Penguins will end up with the highest Goals per game in the Stanley Cup Playoffs (and the flyers will be 2nd).

So who's got who for the finals? I say it's NYR vs LAK with the Rangers taking the series in 6.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's going to be PHX vs NJD for the cup. PHX takes it in 5.

Wow! Be careful around here Meaty. You're on thin ice there... lots of ranger hate on this board. I myself think the Rangers vs Kings will happen. I say Rangers in 7, but only if the officiating gets better.
