For me, an epic brewday tomorrow. 22 gallons, hopefully to be ready for Halloween. Don't think bottles will be ready, but the kegs should be a go.

    1.5 oz. Cascade (4% AA, 30 min.)
    .5 oz. Cascade (4% AA, 10 min.)

All fermented with Notty (might change my mind and do 1/2 with S-04)

    Brew 2:

    My Surly Furious clone:

    Brewer: Rusty Kettle Brewing
Beer: Amplified III Style: India Pale Ale
Type: All grain Size: 12.5 gallons

    Alcohol: 6.6% v/v (5.2% w/w)

    Grain: 8 lb. American 2-row
    16 lb. Golden Promise
2 lb. 8 oz. Belgian aromatic
    2 lb. 8 oz. American crystal 60L
    4 oz. Torrified wheat

    1 oz. Amarillo (7.5% AA, 15 min.)
    .75 oz. Simcoe (12.2% AA, 15 min.)
    1 oz. Amarillo (7.5% AA, 10 min.)
    .75 oz. Simcoe (12.2% AA, 10 min.)
    1 oz. Amarillo (7.5% AA, 5 min.)
    .75 oz. Simcoe (12.2% AA, 5 min.)
1 oz. Amarillo (7.5% AA, FO)
.75 oz. Simcoe (12.2% AA, FO)
    4 oz. Amarillo (7d DH)
    4 oz. Simcoe (7d DH)
    4 oz. Ahtanum (7d DH)

Half Fermeted with Pacman, half with 1272 American Ale II

Getting up to start the burner about 5:30AM.

Grain is ground, ready to go. By the way, the reason for the Special-B and 120L in the porter is because I only had 1lb of chocolate, when I thought I had 2 - my personal substitution (oops!)

    Uf-dah!

Halfway through the first mash. Didn't get going until 6:30. Cooling should be easy today. Highs in the mid-50s.

That certainly is an epic (and hectic) brewday. Hope it all goes well.

    Thanks.

Hit my target OG for the IPA on the money (1.065). The porter was off by 2 points (1.068), but I was a bit optimistic on the efficiency with a 1.070 target gravity. I absolutely love the Beer reciprocator.

Got done by 4:00 PM with all cleanup. :rockin:

4 carboys are happily :ban: bubbling away with a good kräusen on them this morning.

Gotta love strong starters. I get to compare Pacman vs. 1272 Am. Ale II in the IPA.
