So I did my first all grain last weekend, on the stove in a split boil, and it went great. Fermentation took off within 5-6 hrs and went great guns from there.
I did EdWorts Haus Pale Ale (8lbs 2row, 2lbs vienna). I collected 6.5 gallons preboil with a gravity of 1.050. I ended with 5.25 gallons to the fermenter with a gravity of 1.056.
From what i found online with efficiency calculators, it looks like 88% efficiency....is that right? Theres no way that my first all grain, (on the stove top no less) came out that great....
    Did I calculate wrong?

Looks right to me. Wish I could hit those efficencies. Best I get is about 72%
