dry hoping

    would you dry hop a beer your going to lager 6 months???

    I personally would not. If I really wanted to do it though I might put some in the last week.

    I personally never dry hop on yeast. Either in a secondary or in the serving keg.

    I have a bit of OCD, and I agree with this. I like to let the yeast do its thing. Dry hopping for a week or 2 before bottle/keg is enough.

    If there's beer, there's always hope, no matter how dry it is.

    What's the deal with not dry hopping on the yeast (as in not racking to secondary)? Does it affect the AA's or something?

    i was thinking about an oktoberfest. i will be lagering it till the end of sept.
