Why do I have to register a card Amex already knows I have?

 

I wonder if you can do 3 separate $10+ transactions at the same merchant. I would think that won't work even though I do not see it listed.

 

Because there is a limited number of these deals (or so I've heard).

I don't know if that will work or not, but to be safe I will go to 3 different bottle shops.

 

Oh and of course there are lots of other great businesses that you could go to, but since this is beer focused, that's what I mentioned you could buy.

My gf and I went to 3 places. We each used our cards twice at each one. We spent almost $78, so we'll get $60 back. So for $18, we got dinner at Skyline, a $10 gift card to Skyline and all this beer:

 

We hit up Valhall Brewery in Poulsbo, Washington for a 8-beer tasting, and got a bottle of Rodenbach Grand Cru at our local bottle shop. Net cost after refunds: 9 bucks.
