I just finished my first batch and kegged it on Tuesday. Should I have used priming sugar in the keg? I didn't prime it, I just set it to about 10 psi and left it alone in my kegerator. If I do need to use priming sugar, is it to late to add?

    Thanks

    When you keg you can:

    1) Set the co2 tank regulator to the designated psi setting and let it sit for a while.
    2) Set the co2 tank regulator to about 30psi and shake and eventually drop down to serving pressure (There are many threads on this about how much/how often and when it regulates to the right amount of pressure.)
    3) Prime the keg with sugar instead of using co2 to carbonate and in a few weeks use the co2 just to dispense. (Best when you have kegs sitting around which won't be dispensed for a few weeks anyways, and if you want to save on co2.)

Since it's almost been a week, I'd say leave it as is.
