DIY Fermenter Ideas

I’m looking for some ideas on a DIY Ferm Chamber if anyone’s got some pics to share. Looking for something multi purpose for ales and lagers. Thanks.

I initially wanted to build mine as well but didn’t want a used fridge as the box is built to size so if it were to be replaced I’d have to build another. The cost was a bit but still seemed reasonable. Then I noticed HomeDepot or Lowe’s had a GE 7 cu ft deep freeze for like $200 and just went that route due to cost as well as ease (I do love building things).

 

Ya that’s kinda what I’ve come to as well rather than spend more time n money making it, I can just buy a deep freezer and all I’ll need is temp control. I’ll prob make a platform with casters so it’s mobile and put a mini fridge next to it for lagers

 

I’ve not tried making a lager yet as it takes up the chamber and for quite some time, and I’d need to bust out the paperwork so as to figure out how to adjust it. One day I’ll get a mini fridge just for that.
