I cleaned my corny keg last night and when I was putting it back together i didn't see a small rubber seal to go on the gas in post... there is one still on the bev. out post but not the short little plastic gas in.

do I have to have one or would a heavy dose of teflon tape do the job till I can get a new seal shipped to me? (No LHBS here)

or is this something I could find at the hardware store?

    thanks

Take the one off the other post for a size comparison, and go to the hardware store. More than likely, they will have a replacement.

Or maybe a REAL auto parts store, like NAPA. Probably no the consumer chains, like Auto Zone or Kragen.

Lowes has O-rings in the plumbing section by the faucet repair parts.
